Routes for the 2012 SSDT E-mail

Lochaber MapThe SSDT Committee is delighted to confirm that the routes for the 2012 SSDT have now been finalised!

Whether you're a rider looking to see what's in store for your week, a spectator looking to plan your holiday, or simply interested in seeing where the trial is going and when, you'll find the route for each day below.

Before you start looking through the routes, we'd like to ask for your help and co-operation in securing the future of the SSDT. The vast majority of these routes cross private land, some of which is highly sensitive. It's land that we are privileged to have access to, and much of it is ground that nobody else gets the chance to go near.

No matter how tempting it may be, please don't take your bike out on the route. Whether you're a rider that fancies a look at the sections before the trial, or whether you're a spectator making plans for the week ahead, please note that unauthorised access to the land that SSDT uses risks the entire future of the trial, so DON'T DO IT!

The permission we have for using the ground relates solely to the week of the trial. It allows riders and officials to cross the land on the marked route, and nothing more. Whilst we want you to enjoy your week, we would ask that you show your appreciation to our landowners and our committee by respecting these wishes.

Now that's all been said, here are the routes you've all been waiting for.  There are a handful of new names in there, but don't be fooled by the regulars...fresh-faced Clerk of the Course Jeff Horne has thrown a few curveballs in this year, so expect the unexpected!
