Entries Open for the 2026 Scottish Six Days Trial

Fort William, Scotland — The Edinburgh & District Motor Club is delighted to announce that entries are now open for the 2026 Scottish Six Days Trial (SSDT), scheduled to run from 4 – 9 May 2026.

The SSDT is one of the most revered events in the motorcycle trials calendar — a test both of riding skill and machine endurance. Over six consecutive days, competitors will cover approximately 100 miles per day, negotiating up to 30 observed sections daily through rugged moorland, rocky terrain, and public roads across the Highlands.

How to Enter
  • Online entries can be made here - https://form.jotform.com/252727106634355

  • As in past years, entries are capped (typically 280 riders) due to safety and daylight constraints

  • Because demand traditionally exceeds availability, a ballot draw will allocate places

Important Dates & Details
  • Entries close: midnight on Monday 10th November 2025

  • Applicants will be notified of successful entry (ballot outcome) shortly thereafter

  • Entrants should be prepared for all costs associated with travel, accommodation, and bike preparation

Why Enter the 2026 SSDT?
  • Ride alongside top international trials talent in one of the most demanding and prestigious events in the sport

  • Experience the spectacular landscapes of the Scottish Highlands

  • Test your endurance, technical skill, and mechanical reliability
