Jack Peace Triumphs at 2025 Scottish Six Day Trial

12 May 2025
Jack Peace has etched his name into motorcycle trials history by clinching his first victory at the prestigious Scottish Six Day Trial (SSDT), held from 5 to 10 May 2025. The 25-year-old Sherco rider from North Yorkshire showcased exceptional skill and endurance across the grueling six-day event, which challenges competitors with up to 100 miles of rugged terrain daily in the Scottish Highlands.
Peace's triumph comes after a strong performance in the 2024 SSDT, where he secured second place behind Jack Price. Building on that momentum, Peace delivered consistent rides throughout the week, navigating the challenging moorlands and rocky sections with precision. His victory marks a significant milestone in his career, adding to his accolades, including the 2024 Trial2 World Champion and 2023 ACU Trial GB Championship titles.
The SSDT, organized by the Edinburgh & District Motor Club, is renowned as one of the most demanding trials events globally, attracting top riders from around the world. The 2025 edition saw fierce competition from fellow Sherco rider and x2 World Trial GP Champion, Adam Raga from Spain and x2 Trial3 World Champion, George Hemingway who at only 17 years old competed in his first SSDT on a 125cc Beta, but it was Peace ultimately emerging victorious, demonstrating not only technical prowess but also remarkable consistency and resilience.

Peace's win is a testament to his dedication and the support of his team, including Sherco, who have been instrumental in his development as a top-tier trials rider. His achievement is celebrated by fans and peers alike, marking a new chapter in the storied history of the Scottish Six Days Trial.
Clerk of the Course, Davie Dignan said “Congratulations to Jack on his win from all at the SSDT. Also congratulations to our other podium winners, Adam and George, and to all the finishers of the trial, as we all know the SSDT tests you to your limits. I would also like to thank everyone involved as without them this historical trial would not be possible, but special thanks go to all the observers, who give up their time and play a vital role in the event, and it isn’t the easiest task at times. We look forward to welcoming everyone back to Lochaber next year”
